From News Center (Text by Zhang Jinyezi, the International Exchange Department (School of International Education), Photo by Huang Tianyi, Huang Haoran and He Siyu, Convergence Media Center) To support the development of Zhuhai Founder PCB (hereinafter referred to as the "Founder PCB") in Thailand and address its urgent demand for talents at the initial stage of plant construction, LZPU, with the strong support of Office Vocational Education Commission of Thailand, cooperated with 5 vocational colleges in Thailand. In just 2 months, they successfully recruited 85 students for Founder PCB tailored class in Thailand. From December 14 to 15, the symposium and opening ceremony of the tailored class were held in LZPU respectively.

Office Vocational Education Commission of Thailand attaches great importance to this tripartite cooperation. Sanga Taechersai, Deputy Secretary-General, personally led a delegation to send Founder PCB tailored class students to LZPU and attended the symposium and opening ceremony. Qu Fan and Ran Fusong, Vice President of Liuzhou Polytechnic University, attended the symposium and the opening ceremony respectively. Gao Ying, General Manager of HR Department of Founder PCB and Chen Ruwang, the Manager, also participated in the activity.

At the opening ceremony, Sanga Taechersai acknowledged that Liuzhou Polytechnic University has not only provided valuable employment opportunities for students from Thailand through tailored classes of school-enterprise cooperation but also created opportunities for them to study in China. The internship provided for them has broadened their international horizons and promoted the vigorous development of vocational education in Thailand.

At LZPU, Sanga Taechersai and his delegation visited the training base and highly affirmed the advanced school-running philosophy and training conditions. After learning that LZPU is serving as the Thailand-Vietnam Country Working Group of China-ASEAN TVET Consortium, he expressed his willingness to carry out in-depth discussions on China-Thailand vocational education cooperation with China Education Association for International Exchange through LZPU to promote the signing of relevant cooperation agreements between Chinese and Thai governments.

It is reported that this is not the first time for LZPU to meet the urgent talent needs of Chinese-funded enterprises in Thailand through the help of Office Vocational Education Commission of Thailand. In July this year, LZPU successfully recruited 37 Thailand tailored class students for Shennan Circuits Co., Ltd. with the assistance of Office Vocational Education Commission of Thailand. At present, these students have completed their training in LZPU and entered Shenzhen and Nantong branches of Shennan Circuits Co., Ltd. for internship. Together with Chinese students from the "Thai + Mechatronics" tailored class of LZPU, they are actively preparing for the operation of the Thailand subsidiary of Shennan Circuits Co., Ltd. At the same time, LZPU cooperated with LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. and Panyapiwat Institute of Management to establish the International Craftsman College, training 25 Thai students for LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. These students have completed the training in LZPU and returned to Thailand to join LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. for internship and employment. They are playing a backbone role in the development of LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. in Thailand. The students of Founder PCB Thailand tailored class will begin the "Chinese + Mechatronics" training in LZPU. After completing the training in LZPU, the students will go to Founder PCB's domestic affiliated companies for internship. When the Founder PCB production base in Thailand is officially put into operation, they will return to Founder PCB Thailand subsidiary for employment.

Office Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), one of the three main departments in the Ministry of Education, Thailand, is responsible for various activities in vocational education. Deputy Secretary-General Sanga Taechersai personally led the students to LZPU, which is an affirmation of Office Vocational Education Commission of Thailand for LZPU's long-term adherence to the integration of industry and education between China and Thailand, and also a positive signal of willingness to deepen discussions with educational departments in China and further standardize and promote vocational education cooperation between the two countries. Going forward, LZPU will actively cooperate with Office Vocational Education Commission of Thailand to implement the work objectives and tasks of Thailand-Vietnam Country Working Group of China-ASEAN TVET Consortium, so as to promote deeper and more practical education cooperation between the two countries.
